Kyle is a Brand Specialist with close to twenty years of global experience in creating compelling work for brands across categories from fashion to fitness.
With deep experience in marketing and innovation—in both agencies and on the client side—he uses sharp insight, smart strategic thinking and creative execution to deliver high impact business growth.
From launching alcohol brands and repositioning billion dollar media companies, to establishing new creative cultures inside corporate companies and leading highly effective advertising campaigns, Kyle creates unusual and original solutions to some of the biggest challenges facing today’s brands.
A Journalism graduate, Kyle began his career writing for the Guardian newspaper and i-D magazine in London before transferring his storytelling skills to advertising where he worked with brands at agencies including Mother and Naked Communications.
More recently, Kyle served as the Creative Strategy Director of Redscout—headquartered in New York—where he worked with clients such as MillerCoors, Vox Media, PepsiCo, Diageo and Sesame Workshop on projects that ranged in scope from brand positioning to pioneering product innovation and design.
For the past 3.5 years, Kyle led Creative Strategy at Australasian alcohol giant, Lion where he managed brand strategy and creative execution of marketing communications and innovation across their portfolio.
Originally from the UK, he is a regular guest lecturer at the NYU Stern School of Business in New York and a columnist for The Gourmand magazine. He lives in Sydney with his wife and three young children.
